Handy Windows Shortcuts
Have you ever been to a place where the time on a computer is restricted? or think that something is not right with the windows login page (a false page made to log your credentials you enter)? , Then you can usually use CTRL+ALT+DELETE to return to the authentic windows page or open task manager (to end the timer process), if the short cut hasn't been disabled by the Administrator PS. CTRL+ALT+ESC on some computers will open task manager

Downloading music from youtube
Have you ever wanted to download music for a mp3 or Tablet etc.
If yes then you can use a website called youtube converter. Simply look up a video on youtube and copy its url It's found at the top of your browser EG: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGLh138m7sA Open youtube converter in a new tab and paste the url into the box. Click on convert (It will take a bit of time.) Some videos are too long to use or are copyrighted so find a different video on YouTube Once done click, download and the file will be downloaded as a mp3. You can then transfer it via usb to your device. By XLR8 |
Making and designing your own website for FREE
Did you hear me FREE!
These sites simply put a sub-domain on there site so all the free sites are like this:
wix = http://example.wix.com webs = http://example.webs.com weebly = http://example.weebly.com |
There is many website builders out there, The most popular hosts are:
Wix Webs -I used this for my website before Go there Weebly-I switched to this server because of custom html The only problem with them is that you have a bit at the bottom of the page Saying "Made with Wix" Or "Build a free site with Webs.com" And the URL of your page is Http://www.YOURDOMAIN.HOST.com. You can remove it if you pay around $7.00 per month, And you get other features like Custom Html. I think the best host is weebly and webs Weebly because you have loads of features like: *Custom Html/Embed code (allowing you to do anything) *Maps *Contact forms *surveys *edit the css and html of the site *downloads for the site and loads more thanks to the embed code And Webs because it has loads of themes and its easy drag and drop interface By XLR8 |
Mostly Android
Cool Flying Androids!
For a useless but cool screensaver on your android device do this:
1. Open the stock settings (normal settings) 2. Locate About Tablet/Phone at the bottom of the list and click continuously on the option Android Version 3. A big Android will cover the screen with the wallpaper you chose before in the background 4. Hold your finger down for four seconds and the picture should get bigger 4 times then you should see millions of Androids flying to the right with fireworks in the foreground (Screensaver Depends on Device OS) By XLR8 |

Have you got Minecraft on your Android?
If so then you could make a mansion in a creative world, But when it is built you might want to start a survival world, but find it hard to get all you need. Here I will show you how to convert a creative world (with all the bricks) into a survival world. First, Download ES file manager from Google Play, Now go into Minecraft© and create a survival world named anything you want. Go into ES (Just tap the screen 5 times to clear the "How to Use Screen") and Locate "/mnt/sdcard/games/com.mojang/MinecraftWorlds/". You should see a few folders, go into the folder that has the name you chose and copy "level.dat". Paste it into the folder that has the same name as the Creative world Now go into Minecraft© and you should see two worlds named the same open both and see which is the Creative World converted into survival world And that is it, go ahead and make a whole world and convert it into Survival and impress all your friends! Making QR Codes
This is a html code I designed that will convert a link/text into a QR Code, Simply enter a link (with http://) and tap on Generate QR Code.
You will then be redirected to a Google page with a Matrix-Barcode On it (QR Code) Hold down/right click on the image and select save, you can then print it and scan it using a smartphone. You can copy the source for it as long as you DO NOT remove "by SD-Storage" link
